Lot of the game now a days require a pretty big video card. A 5200 is outdated and i know u cant upgrade your laptop. The best solution to this is increase the amount of RAM in your laptop to the max. When you run games lower the video settings to low or medium. Another thing that can help is running msconfig in the RUN box and turning off lot of apps that run in background

Nvidia geforce go 7150m graphic card not supporting aero why not?

Its an older card that was made before the aero translucency was introduced. You need a card that supports DirectX 10.0 or higher.
Buy a cheap NVidia card on ebay and download drivers for it from the nvidia website, then fit it.

Hi,
This is definitely a display issue ,going black could be the inverter or cable, as you are getting vertical line, it seems you need to change the display. It seems the heat produced by the video card in your system is too high if the cooling is not enough it might give you this problem due to over heating. Maximum GPU Temperature (in C) 105 C for nvida GEFORCE GT 120M.

The screen resolution for your laptop is WXGA++(1600 x 900) which is 17",for this kind of display I would say display nothing less than 1920x1080 or 1920x1200 is high defination (HD) display.

The GRAPHICS card you have in the system it has

  • Maximum Digital Resolution 2560x1600
  • Maximum VGA Resolution 2048x1536
  • Maximum GPU Temperature (in C) 105 C
  • Maximum Graphics Card Power (W) 50 W
Try to decrease the hardware acceleration of the video card and check how it works.Other wise replace the display.

Nvida geforce fx5500 256 agp compatible with intel d865gbf ?

Yes, they should be compatible. The Intel d865gbf has an AGP port that supports AGP 4x/8x, and so does the FX5500. You should be fine.

DirectX9.0c capable graphics card

It's not about driver. There are card which do not support Dx9 like nVidia GeForce 4 MX500. Those cards can play only up to Dx8 games and there are cards like GeForce 4 Titanium 4200 which are not support fully Dx9. On them you can play Dx9 games, but without some features. Since you didn't give me a name of your card, solution is hard to say.
