What can i do? been trying to get into my emails but gmail is off line.

You didn't provide much detail, so bear with me for awhile. There are a number of possibilities.

Gmail
It may not seem intuitive. First of all, are you able to login to your alternate email, you needed one to setup Gmail? The reason I am asking this is that the first thing to check is that your password is not correct. Remember that Gmail's password is case sensitive, so double check that you have entered it correctly.
Next are you able to read/send/delete/archive your Gmail from a browser? To troubleshoot this, if you don't have the Chrome browser, get it. In the Chrome browser, at the initial screen, click on skip for now. Then go to https://www.gmail.com. Are you able to login to Gmail? If you can login to Gmail from the Chrome browser. If your password is incorrect, and you don't remember it, you may request it to be reset and the new temporary password will be sent to your alternate email, so you'll need do access that account to read your password and the instructions to using it.
Once your password is correct, or you are able to get in to Gmail in Chrome, you'll need to confirm a couple of settings in Gmail. Click on the gear, and select Settings. Along the top you'll see several settings, select Forwarding and POP/IMAP. Next, ensure that POP is disabled and IMAP is enabled. If that is not the current setting, change it. Click on Disable POP and click on Enable IMAP. After making those changes, you MUST click on the Save Changes button. If you miss that step, it won't change.

Mac OS X Mail App

Now everything is setup correctly in Gmail. The next is in the Mac OS X Mail app. In the Mail app, select the Mail menu item and go to Preferences... then select Gmail or whatever you called it. There will be three tabs shown. Select Account Information. Then in there, make sure that your Email Address is your fully qualified Gmail address, meaning <user id>@gmail.com. Then, go down and make sure that the Incoming Mail Server is set to imap.gmail.com. Then the Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) is set to Gmail. TLS Certificate should be set to None.
Now go to the Advanced tab. Then make sure all the top half check boxes are checked except make that the Send large attachments with Mail Drop not selected. Leave the IMAP Path Prefix blank. Then make sure that Port is set to 993 and that Use SSL is checked. Also that Allow insecure authentication is NOT checked. Check the Use IDLE command if server supports it.
Now close that Accounts pane and close and restart Mail. It should already connect and be on-line, but just to be sure, restart Mail. This should solve any setting issues. Let me know if you are able to login via the Web Gmail, via the Chrome browser but it still shows as off line in Mail.

Gmail problem

You can combine multiple Gmail accounts into a single, primary Gmail account by using the POP3 Mail Fetcher application built into Gmail.

The Mail Fetcher enables you to retrieve email from POP3 email accounts, including Gmail, and send mail as if from a different email address all from within your primary Gmail account. Configure your primary account to manage your other Gmail accounts with the Mail Fetcher.

Sign in to the Gmail account that you want to use to manage your Gmail accounts.

Click the "Settings" icon, represented by a gear cog, in the top left and click "Mail Settings."

Click the "Accounts and Import" tab.

Click the "Add POP3 Email Account" button.

Enter the email address of your secondary email account and then click "Next Step."

Enter the password of your secondary email account and then click "Add Account."

Click the radio button beside "Yes, I want to be able to send email as
[SECONDARY EMAIL ADDRESS]" and then click "Next Step."

Enter the display name for your secondary email address and then click "Next Step."

Click "Send Verification" and then check your secondary email account.
Click the link contained in the verification email to confirm the integration of that account with your primary Gmail account.

All mail sent to your secondary Gmail is now delivered to your primary account, and when responding your secondary Gmail address is displayed in the From section of the email.

If mail send to your Gmail-Address disapper: - check your Spamfolder - Mail settings -> forwarding -> check if the mail gets forwarded - Mail settings -> filters -> check if there is a filter affecting it.

What is the yahoo smtp #

SMTP are email protocols that allow you to manage one mail account from another mail program. Earlier we saw how to read in Gmail, Hotmail mails, by configuring Hotmail pop3 in Gmail.Similarly, you can set up Yahoo pop3 and Yahoo SMTP to funnel your Yahoo! Email into Gmail or Microsoft Outlook or Thunderbird or any other mail program on your PC or mobile phones. When you check your mails in Gmail or any such email program, they will automatically check your Yahoo mail account and download any new messages. You can also send messages as if you’re writing from your Yahoo Email account.

I cannot configure my gmail account with outlook

To use your Gmail e-mail account in Outlook, you must first make sure POP3 support is enabled in Gmail, and then you can add it to Outlook.

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. At the top of any Gmail page, click Settings.
  3. In the Mail Settings window, click Forwarding and POP.
  4. In the POP Download section, select Enable POP or all mail or Enable POP only for mail that arrives from now on.
  5. Click Save Settings.
  6. In Outlook, on the Tools menu, click E-mail Accounts.
  7. Click Add a new e-mail account, and then click Next.
  8. Click POP3, and then click Next.
  9. Under User Information, do the following:
  10. In the Your Name box, type your full name the way you want it to appear to other people.
  11. In the E-mail Address box, type your e-mail user name followed by @gmail.com.
  12. Under Server Information, do the following:
  13. In the Incoming mail server (POP3) box, type pop.gmail.com.
  14. In the Outgoing mail server (SMTP) box, type smtp.Gmail.com.
  15. Under Logon Information, do the following:
  16. In the User Name box, type your full e-mail address, including @gmail.com.
  17. In the Password box, type your password.
  18. Select the Remember password check box. Note You have the option to have Outlook remember your password by typing it in the Password box and selecting the Remember password check box. Having Outlook remember your password means that you won't have to type your password each time you access the account; however, it also means that the account is vulnerable to anyone who has access to your computer.
  19. Click More Settings.
  20. On the General tab, under Mail Account, type Gmail.
  21. Click the Outgoing Server tab, and then select the My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication check box.
  22. Select Use same settings as my incoming mail server.
  23. Click the Advanced tab, and then under Server Port Numbers for both Incoming server (POP3) and Outgoing server (SMTP), select the This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL) check boxes.
  24. Change the Outgoing server (SMTP) port number to 465. The Incoming server (POP3) port number should change automatically to 995 when you select the This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL) check box.
  25. Click OK.
  26. To verify that your account is working, click Test Account Settings. If there is missing or incorrect information, such as your password, you will be prompted to supply or correct it. Make sure your computer is connected to the Internet.
  27. Click Next, and then click Finish
  • Do not select the Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA) check box.
