Question about LG RU-52SZ51D 52" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television
My TV suddenly developed this problem after someone with no knowledge of the LG TV/STB Remote tried to turn it on without success! I then tried to turn it on and here is what happened: Initial the amber light blinked as is normally the case when being switched on, then after a little while, the green light switched on and so the TV screen lights up; everything is normal so far... until 10-15 seconds passed the screen for no reason suddenly went BLACK!(the lamp self-turned off), however the power indicating (stand-by) light is still green for at least another 10-15 second before it also self-switch off to red! If i turn it on again, then the TV screen will only light up for even shorter time! and then similar results. If i persist with this after 3-4 times the TV screen won't even light up at all... I also checked the Lamp and when it went off matched that off the TV screen. I want to replace the lamp but not sure if this is the problem? hope someone can help. many thanks HT
1) Can be dust do a good clean
2)Check for the fuse and change it if needed.
3) Capacitor needs to be changed, you'll have to findout which one.
Hope it helps, good luck
