SOURCE: youtube videos will not play

Try to install flash player in your laptop.Because videos on youtube are in .FLV format so it requires flash codec to run videos.

Why is my laptop is no longer playing vidoes such as Youtube

Youtube is all flash videos. You will probably need to update or reinstall Adobe Flash Player (http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/). If that doesn't work, then you most likely have an issue with your internet browser, so try another browser like Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.

Youtube vidoes and others are no longer playing?

Sounds like you have lost a programme that was used to play the videos. If you right click on a video, you will be able to select the programme to play it with. See if there is one there and if it works, select it as your default player. (Probably media player).

When I try to play a youtube video it says an error has occurred.

Try installing Adobe Flash Player, available from http://www.adobe.com/go/EN_US-H-GET-FLASH , and then re-starting your web browser.

If more problems persist, you may need to restart your computer, if you installed new Windows Updates, or the YouTube video you are trying to play may no longer be available on YouTube, because it may have been removed, because that YouTube user has either posted a video that is copyrighted, such as a Music Video, or had violated YouTube terms of Service.

Also, you may want to double check the web site address you are on, because maybe you either types in wrong web site address, or also, there may be some problem with your web browser.

If you want, list me your web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer / Mozilla Firefox / ...), and also, which operating system you are using (e.g. Microsoft Windows, Linux, ...), and I may be able to help you.
