If it's still embedded in you have to leach it out chemically. If it's panned nuggets or specks then there is equipment available to do that.

My Dewalt D51825 leaks air from the piston rod. Bumper seems to be okay Can any one help?

Air leaking from nose of gun indicates air getting past bulkhead orings. Bulkhead is white plastic frame inside of gun. Replace gold colored vinyl orings with like size buna orings. Remove cylinder from bulkhead to find two bad orings. Also replace trigger valve or vinyl orings within valve including the two orings on the firing pin. Good luck.

It double nails quite a lot

Time for an oring kit and also replace the trigger valve. These nailers have some vinyl /gold colored orings that fail. If you buy a kit, , make sure that the vinyl orings in the kit are still usable. If you have a source for buna orings, use them instead. Good luck.

I own a DeWalt D51850. For nearly two years it

Dewalt uses some vinyl orings (clear to gold colored) and some buna orings (black) in the gun. The vinyl orings fail if you use the gun or not. Open the gun and replace all the gold /vinyl orings with buna. The oring kit contains some vinyl and some buna. If you have a source for orings replace all the vinyl with buna. I believe there are at least four vinyl inside the body of the gun and at least three vinyl inside the trigger valve. If you do not have source for orings, then replace the trigger valve and install an oring kit. The driver is most likely ok if it does not look bent. The bottom of the driver should be square. If tiny bits of the edge are broken off then most likely ok. Make sure that you are using the correct nails. Lay a strip if nails on the side of the rails with the nail heads aligned with the rails. The first nail should align with the path of the driver blade. If the first nail is not correctly aligned, then you will have miss-fire. Good luck

Can u melt gold right out of the rock

IFthere is gold in the rock to start with, you would be better off crushing the rock to dust and sieving out any gold for further processing. Gold is pretty rare on this planet, which is why it is so valuable, so the odds of finding any are slim. It is usually found in small quantities with copper and silver deposits. The Botanicare product is for removing salt from aquaculture, agriculture, and hydroponic growing medium and is useless in gold mining.

My D51822 Type 1 dewalt nail gun blows air out at the nose took it apart and cleaned the junk out of it, put it back together still leaks and now it rapid fires like a machine gun

Needs rebuild kit or if you have a source for orings just replace all the vinyl (gold /yellow/clear in color) with buna or black orings. There are two vinyl orings in the trigger valve (metal stem) that fail and cause machine gun effect or replace trigger valve complete. Air out the nose indicates weak oring contact between the body of the gun and the white plastic cylinder spacer and also the cylinder spacer and the cylinder. I suspect the orings between the cylinder spacer and the cylinder (actually installed on the cylinder) . Good luck

Nail gun will not shoot a nail

Check the safety trip make sure it is pushing back far enough. If it doesn't then it won't do anything. When it was fine just moments earlier.

It will not fire the nails. Unit is cleared with no obstructions. This has happened several times but now it will not work

If your gun is over a year old, you may have failing orings. Dewalt used vinyl orings (yellow to gold in color instead of black rubber) in the gun that fail. The vinyl orings are installed around the cylinder and inside the trigger valve. The gun may not leak air, however will not fire. The repair kit has all necessary orings, however may not include the trigger valve. Good luck

My gun will not shoot nails and air is coming out where trigger is when you press triggerr

Dewalt uses vinyl orings in the trigger valve (clear to gold color oring on the firing pin) and are known to fail. You can pop out the valve and replace with new ( part # 603396.00) or try replacing the orings. It is hard to find small orings (i think it uses 2mm x 1.5mm). Also there are two to four orings made of vinyl within the gun. Two between the cylinder and cylinder retainer and two in the head. Rebuild kit may still be available. Good luck

Good Morning, I have a Porter Cable Finish Nailer BN125A. When firing, nail does not go through and piston stays down and compress air goes out the head valve non stop.

Could be very simple problem of headvalve oring coming off or pinched. Remove the head and look at the oring installed on the headvale. Sometimes this oring will fall off the grove. If the oring is off groove and is pinched, you may need to replace with generic oring sold at Lowes (if oring is gold vinyl replace with black rubber from lowes, will work better). If oring is in place, pull out the cylinder and examine the driver for bent blade/broken. If bent, make adjustment or replace as needed. If the driver is in good shape check that the check valve is in the proper place. The check valve is a black rubber band around a series of holes on the outside of the cylinder. Good luck
