Question about Intel (RK80532PG0881M) Pentium 4, 3 GHz Processor
Can I install Windows 8 64-bit version installation on it?
Theoretically, the CPUs available in that model line should run a X64 OS, but I'd run the Win8 Upgrade Assistant to make sure your PC can handle it.

Usually a 64bit Quad or Dual Core will work with 7/8. If you get Windows 8.1 Version, it will work as a general rule.

No. Not the one listed above (socket LGA 1156) You need to look for a mobile CPU (possibly mobile 479). They differ physically and architecturally. Even then you need to establish that the CPU is removable and verify BIOS has support for upgraded chip. Talk to your local repair shop for finale decision.
