the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

I have installed the Netgear WG311 software. After putting the card inside the machine, the software doenot seem to locate the hardware. The green LED on the card should blink but it is not. Is there...

I see on the Belkin web site (http://kbserver.netgear.com/products/WG311.asp) that they have different versions of this card and the driver software versions are not compatible amongst the various hardware versions. They also have lots of troubleshooting steps on their web site (http://kb.netgear.com/app/products/model/a_id/2566) I won't duplicate them here. Good luck.

Drivers issue

This model doesen't have Windows 7 support yet. Try with this driver version http://kb.netgear.com/app/products/model/a_id/2566, it might work with Windows 7 as well. Otherwise you'll have to wait or change the operating system.

Wireless not working from netgear wg311 to a new bt homehub2

Hi Backatya,

Check what kind of security you upgraded BThomehub 2 uses. Since the hub supports more security-types then your adapter does, I suspect an incompatibility there.

You can solve it by connecting through cable and changing security to WEP or WPA (not WPA2).

Hi!

I'm sorry to tell you, but Netgear does not have a Macintosh driver for WG11 adapter. It can only work with Windows OS.

this sound like an IRQ resource conflict, you may need to use another kind of PCI adapter.

you may either refer to netgear's tech support for recommendations of which device will best work for your machine.
