Re: power problems

Next time try booting your computer into safe mode.If it shuts down in safe mode, more than likely there is something that is running on the computer that should not be, viruses or spyware. Turn off everything that is starting up and boot the system into Windows normally. If it shuts down after this, something is running in the background. Try turning things on one at a time to find which one is causing the problem. Also, update the drives for all the hardware that you can, bad drivers can also not allow the system to shut down properly

Re: power problems

There is most likely a software and/or driver confliction not allowing your system to shut down.  Have you recently installed new software or hardware?

My laptop was hanged from last one hour how to start of samsang compeny

If I understand correctly; your laptop is hanging( hung in a loop ) and unable to function. I suggest a "Hard Shutdown". This will allow the computer to restart. Press and hold down the laptop's power button for approximately 15 seconds. The laptop should power off then press the power button normally and it will restart. Start up may take longer especially if you are using a Windows Operating System. The Operating System may detect that there was a problem and will attempt to correct. Simply follow the onscreen prompts. Good Luck.

Power drain helps solve most computer hardware related problems

I have answered more than 100 inquiries and half of which are computer related issues such as PC hangs, PC freezes.

One helpful tip is " Perform the Power drain"..
How it works ? It is simple.

Turn off your computer.
Remove the cables and battery (if it is a laptop; for desktop, just the cables)
Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds
Reinsert the cables and battery on the pc (if it is a laptop; for desktop, just the cables)
Turn on the pc.
Wait for the operating system to load and check if your pc runs fast..

Hope this tip helps...

It seems that your computer is hanging up. Just press and hold the power button for 5-8 seconds. Just let it shut down. Turn it on again and the problem should be gone.

Note: Computers usually hangs up if they have software errors. I suggest that you download a technician's software like RadarSync so that your computer is maintained without you doing anything at all. RadarSync will do the maintenance automatically.

I hope this helps.

Emachines e732z laptop is stuck, cant find mouse and wont turn off

Just press and hold the laptop power button for more than 4 seconds and it will force it to power off, then try rebooting to make sure it is still ok - you may be offered the choice of starting in Safe Mode - you can do this if you are concerned that a recent change may have caused the hang problem.

Hang problem

Computers, no matter the make or the model, have a tendency to freeze up. This typically occurs when you overload the RAM on the computer and the laptop can not process any more information. When your laptop freezes, you are not left with many options, so you'll you need to restart the system.

1.Press and hold "CTRL," "ALT" and "Delete" at the same time. Wait and see if a prompt window loads. If one does you can select the program causing the crash and close it. This allows you to return to using the laptop.
2.Push and hold the power button until the system turns off. Typically, you need to hold the power button down for a few moments before the laptop shuts down.
3.Remove the power cord from the laptop if the power button does not turn the computer off. Occasionally this can occur, in which case you need to find an alternative way of cutting the power.
4.Flip the laptop over if the power button is not turning the computer off. Find the battery compartment on the bottom of the laptop and remove it from the computer. Momentarily the computer shuts down. Leave the battery out for a few moments.
5.Insert the battery back into the computer and press the power button. Shortly, the computer restarts and begins to load the operating system.

I hope you find it very helpful.

My toshiba laptop permanently stays on logging off mode, and its been like that for 2 days.

It's not good to leave your laptop hanging like that. Press and hold the power button until it turns off. If you are unable to turn it off by holding the power button, press ctrl + alt + delete at the same time. (all three keys) Then choose windows task manager. Click on "shut down" and wait for the pc to turn off.

It takes more then 10 minutes to start and keeps hanging in between

try to turn off the laptop and remove the cables and battery on it. Then press and hold power button for 5 secs. Reinsert the battery and cables then turn it on the laptop. If it is slow to start, there is a problem with the power supply inside your laptop, kindly call IBM for laptop repair...

My loptop D610 turn on ,caps lock blinks and ater 3 to4 secons it

I would try clearing the cmos battery. It's located under a small door under the laptop battery. Unhook the wire (laptop unplugged) and let it sit for 20 minutes. Hook it back up and try to power up. If that doesn't work has techs that work on laptops.

After shutting down svchost.exe appeared.and hang itself.

If its not doing this all the time, and the laptop is just stuck on, press and hold the power button down until the laptop turns off.

If its a reoccurring problem, run a check disk.

if it still does it, disconnect one piece of external hardware one at a time until the scvhost.exe doesn't hang on shutdown, and you have found the culprit.
