Problem with Sony Handycam DCR-HC32 Mini DV Digital Camcorder
My camera wants me to re-attach the power source. It doesn't matter if I'm using the battery or AC adaptor. The DV tape holder in the camera will not pop out automatically. When I do get it to open the camera displays the eject tape symbol.

I had the same problem. I took off the battery pack and wiped the it down with a kleenex as well as the socket in the camera where the battery pack connects to. This fixed the problem.

Guest I had exactly the same problem. I disconnected the battery and then reinstalled it and the problem was fixed.
First time I tried this, it didn't work as I had the DC cable attached. It seems that you need to disconnect all power sources for the device to reset itself.
