Thanks for the advice! The wlan & card reader are from an identical tower (SCALEO P) & they both fit into the front fascia.

Yes, the Wireless Lan Card does need an antenna to Connect to your wireless router. depending on how close the computer is to the router you may be able to get away with no antenna but probably not. The following link will give you an example of what the wireless antenna looks like on a PC card. http://www.dlink.ca/products/?sec=0&...

Since you didn't specify which type of card you purchased I cannot give you more information than this.

Have you tried putting the Graphics card in a Different slot? If you have and it is still not working most-likely it means that your video card has gone bad and needs replacing.

How do I turn on my wireless

HERE IS THE RESOLUTION

To turn the WLAN wireless card on and off, use the FN + F2 keys. The F2 key has an icon on it that looks like a large radio transmitter tower. Pressing the FN+F2 keys again will reverse the state of the WLAN card. There is a green LED (with the same transmission tower picture) at the right edge of the keyboard that will illuminate when the WLAN card is on. This WLAN status LED is located to the right of the "Home, End" key.

Kodak DX digital camera. Lost connection between

I understand your quarry as you misplaced the U-4 USB cord used for connecting the camera with the computer.
KODAK no longer carries this item for sales.
I suggest that you use a card reader instead. A card reader can be purchased in any store carrying technical equipment.

Use a memory card in the camera, then use a generic USB memory card reader to transfer your pictures off the memory card. Camera USB cord drivers are always a pain to use.

Onboard Sound Drivers and Video Controllers

Hi EsteG, found all your drivers for your SCALEO 800, these are also used for the SCALEO 800Si 2410 Silent+. They call it the 800 series, for XP. Click the link below.
http://support.fujitsu-siemens.com/com/support/downloads.html

Because it's the whole 800 series you'll need your manual to pick the correct Audio driver as noted in your manual. To narrow down the ammount of drivers in each area. There should be a sticker on the PC that has the serial No# . Enter that number on this link below. (Siemens Fujitsu) does not make this easy.
http://support.fujitsu-siemens.com/com/support/downloads.html

If I can be of more service, just ask.
Good Luck & Kind Regards.

Mike
