I have an ASUS VX229H LCD monitor. It shows "Keys Locked" when power on, how can I unlock it to reconfigure? Thanks.

Sound like the keys on the keyboard are sticking. Try turning keyboard over, shake and tap, and/or remove the tile from the keyboard to see if anything is stuck under it. Simple things first.

I have an asus k55v & sometimes the keyboard locks

The computer's keyboard driver is outdated that's why it's acting like that. It will get fixed by updating it. Go to the Device Manager.

Right Click on Computer. Click Manage. Then go to Device Manager.

Right click on the keyboard driver and click on update. You can also use RadarSync if you want to make sure that all drivers are updated so that you won't get any failures in the computer. You can get RadarSync from here

Let me know if you have any questions.

I was holding down enter and accidentally locked my keyboard. When I try typing in Microsoft Word a message at the bottom says the keyboard is locked. How do I unlock my keyboard?

Try holding down RIGHT shift for ~8 seconds and watch for a pop-up menu.

If that doesn't work, refer to this:

Hi my keyboard is locked, cannot type in anything

have you tried hitting the "numlock" key? Sometimes it is accidentally hit and that will cause your keyboard to fail to respond to average typing.
In addition there might be a key lock button on your laptop.

The cursor jumps round constantly when i type so i can never type quickly or accurately. how can i fix this?

This is probably caused by the pointer device in the centre of the keyboard - it is easy to touch it accidentally while typing. You need to disable the device.
If you are running XP you should find it in Start>Control Panel>System>Hardware>Device Manager and look for "Mice and other pointing devices"
You can disable it from here.

Ibm thinkpad keyboard right side is #'s not letters

You have accidentally turned on the "Num Lock", all you have to do is hit the Num Lock key to return the keyboard to normal, it is located at the top right hand side of the keyboard.
