SOURCE: water not draining

I encountered like this problem before,at bottom of your washing machine, there is a hole start tracing there until you reach the draining pipe out ,you find there many cloth fiber clogging up,when that clog is taken out already ,your washing machine will drain the water again, you can do it yourself, no need to call of a repair man..

SOURCE: Softner won't drain

Sir,

if you mean that the softner (from the detergant drawer) will not enter the drum during the normal cycle, then....

the softner has become solid, you need get hot water and get the hardened softner loose within the pipe to the drum clear.

I suggest using a solid electrical cable core to clear it

SOURCE: the water in the water tank in the dishwasher won't drain

  1. Check for hose kinks or food plugging drain hose. Start at the drain port exit (there are others, this is just an example)
  2. Check the check valve and drain hose for debris.
  3. Check pump motor for reversing during the pump out make sure the dishwasher is pausing between the wash and drain cycles letting the pump/motor reverse for the drain cycle.
  4. Check timer for not letting the dishwasher pause. ( not all dishwashers )
  5. Check pump motor assembly for a drain solenoid, during the pump out make sure the solenoid makes that distinctive "clunk" noise
  6. If you have recently installed a new garbage disposal, check knock-out plugat connection.
  7. Check pump impeller for damage.
  8. Check that the water inlet valve isn't seeping fresh water into the dishwasher when off.

Is there a city code for water softener recharge drain?

Well a lot of Cities and counties have there own ordinances for this. A good rule of thumb is not to discharge brine into sewer system or septic tank. Most drain into the yard. I have seen studies on different plants that actually thrive from brine water from softners. You may want to ant some of these and discharge that way. But to cover your self legally contact the City.

Softner Compartment won't drain

this may be a faulty valve that allows the water to fill the softner compartment.to check the draining capability remove the drawer and take it to a sink make sure it remains level you you sink tap or a cp of water and fill the compartment almost to the top and it should start draining once it starts to drain stop putting water in and watch it. it should finish draining by itself there will be some water left in it but only a small amount. if it does not drain clean it out.

My mark 812 water softener just lets the water run out into the drain cant stop it unless I shut the water off

sometimes the heads go bad on those and they get stuck in a regeneration cycle that just flushes the tank out. put it on bypass or call your softner maker and alot of times they will help you diagnose it and send you replacement parts. also some of the softner heads use small electric motors that get siezed as well

Fabric Softner not leaving dispenser

Run some vinger through it. Fabric Softner leaves a filmy residue that can clog it up.

I have a whirlpool water softner. After regenerating, the water is still hard and the tank is about half full of water. I have cleaned the venturi.
