Re: system slows some time and again get normal
If your talking games running to slow, your probably running out of memory, make sure you have plenty of memory in the motherboard 2GB probably would be min depending on what games your playing,
then go into your bios (setup) and go to the video card and see if you can deicate some of you motherboard memory to you video card.
If you cant you may need to upgrade your video card, a good card should have 512mb of memory.
if you have a card with 512mb or more you shouldnt have to go into your bios (setup) and dedicate additioanl memory for that card.
I hope this has been of some help, if this doesnt solve your problem, let me know and give me alittle more info on your card, how much and what kind of memory you have.
would apprecitate you leaving your feedback for me.

If your Hardware is pretty much compatible with game requirements than you have to go through some points before playing game to prevent your PC from slowing down:-
- Shut down all running updates - Remove all temporary files from your system - You must have enough memory on disc that can support your paging memory - Stop background running applications - Run Reginout Utility for extreme gaming experience - Update DX on your system - Try putting all graphics on low
You are right when you say it's really slow when you play games online, 1. The Game server is accessing by you through wires and network devices, so this makes the games slow. If the game is installed in your pc, there's should be no speed problem, 2. Network bandwidth will be accumulated by the game when you run the program, so don't take tension,... we are facing the same problem and it's just normal. There's nothing different. Good luck
hey, I have a crappy acer laptop and can play tactical games pretty well but some FMV's have slowed it down increadibly. I strongly suggest you get the pcsx2 0.9.6 version, check all the speed hacks (see if that doesn't crash your game) you also have the option of using VUSKIP your screen will blink sometimes depending on how much you got going on the screen at once, but you can adjust it using F4 BTW normal limited(i never use) skip and vuskip. I use normal on some FMVs but game play i'll use VU most of the time because my laptop is slow. Also you can play without sound and check the sound hacks, small speed up. While PCSX2's new version is much faster, it still slows down quite often and is a huge system resource drainer. my settings for VUskip 160 custom 70 skip below 3consective render 15 frames skipped. lol
Memory may help you, it also may not. One thing that can cause a system to run slow is from alot of startup programs and services. Also an infection could cause it to run slow to. I recommend lettnig a professional help you.
