Making a loud noise

We have a subzero 650. IT is making a loud noise, hear it most when you pull open freezer door. When you pull the door completely out, it stops. It sounds like a fan or motor. When you push the freezer back in, it starts up again. Probably need a repairman to come look?

My LFX31925ST French Door freezer is making a loud vibrating noise that stops when the door is opened. It appears to be above the fan. Frost buildup in freezer.

Possibly the door isn't shutting completely. Here's a YouTube video where another guy had a similar problem and how he solved it.

GE profile fridge making loud humming noise

The door being open so long caused warm moist air to collect and freeze inside the unit.

Take everything out, unplug it and let it thaw out for an entire day. All the frost will thaw, and probably run water all over the place so put towels down.

When you plug it back it, it should work fine.

How do you get an icemaker in a subzero 650 refrigerator to stop making ice when the bin is full?

There should be a metal bar that flips when it hits the ice at a certain level. It should stop automatically. There is a problem with the sensor.

Good day,
No, a new water valve should solve that problem. The diaphram in the valve is not completely closing.
Very common problem.
