2) OFF SOURCE ATT OPEN/CLOSE
3) MODE PTY/DSPL SOUND OPEN/CLOSE
4) SOUND MODE ATT OPEN/CLOSE
5) MENU ENTER MODE OPEN/CLOSE
6) SEEK- SEEK+ MODE OPEN/CLOSE
7) OFF PTY/DSPL MODE OPEN/CLOSE

HI IF YOU LOOK ON THE BASE OF THE STEREO YOU WILL SEE A SQUARE SECTION THAT ISNT THERE IF YOU LOOK THROUGH THIS YOU WILL SEE 4 BLOBS OF SOLDER ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS SOLDER THESE TOGETHER AND IT WILL KNOCK YOUR CODE OFF COMPLETELY THIS DOES HOWEVER MAKE IT SO THERE IS NEVER A CODE ON IT SO IF IT GETS STOLEN THEN ANYONE CAN USE IT IM SURE YOU ARE AWARE OF THIS

If it's a sony m800 it has a customer entered code so you won't be able to retrieve the code from the serial number so I'm afraid you will have to take it to a specialist decoding firm, you should be able to look up your local car radio decoding company in the phone book
