Question about Washing Machines

How do I set my Neff Washing Up machine to come on at night?

Have a Neff washing up machine which works perfectly during the day but I also have an economy 7 electric meter so I want to set it to run at night.  What I do is try to set the machine as if it is about to start then plug in the 24-hr electric timer 'clock', turn on the electric and go to bed.  In the morning the timer has moved on correctly but the washing up machine hasn't worked, Have you any suggestions?  I have tried to ring Neff on the numbers that are in the original instruction manual but they supposedly don't exist- the only one number (at Swindon) which was working, was on an ansaphone and no one replied.

I dont think you will be able to start your washing machine this way during the night. Electronically controlled machines will need you to press the start button again when the power is re-applied. They dont 'remember' where the program left off unlike the old mechanical type of programmer.

Neff washing machine not spinning. have drained water. is the white circular part bottom left the filter. could it be there is something in here that is preventing it spinning? i cannot open it.

You can check if the drive is struck or the motor is struck. It will be good to confirm with a voltage check to see if power comes to the motor during the program cycle. if not the program controller is faulty. If yes the motor must run, if with a starting capacitor it must be weak and replaced.
If the drive is tight remove and reset.

Neff washing machine - barrel doesnt spin

I would recommend it. Otherwise they will have to run new wires from control module all the way down to the motor. I would get my money back since they didn't replace the right piece.

Error code e 10 means no cold fill.

Ensure that the water getting to the machine from the water supplies at the back. Check that the hoses are not bent or kinked and that the water tap is opened.
Try cutting power to the machine for ten minutes to reset the code.
If that does not work, then it is usually a faulty inlet valve stuck on closed on cold water.

Easy, remove the top the switch unclips and slides out from the front panel, you cannot sucesfully repair these switches so a replacement should be obtained

Perhaps it needs to be thoroughly cleaned out first - sometimes the gloopy mess collects and blocks the outlet hole.

Samsung Washer WT1101cw will not drain. Originally had a OE error. Running "Spin" or "Rinse Spin" cycles but pump cycles on for less than 1 second and goes into spin with water in it. _Laundry loaded with a OE error and water not draining. _I manually drained the system, took apart the drain and did not find a clog or anything to prevent the motor from turning. _Pump motor reads continuity. _Ran multiple SPIN cycles and then a RINSE and SPIN cycle and actually had the pump run for a few seconds and even for a minute or so one time but could not repeat and hasn't since. _checked the Pressure Switch and see continuity between common and outside contact. Tried to increase pressure by blowing into the tube using a straw on the end of tube but saw no change. Not sure how the pressure is created inside the bowl. _There was no overfill condition originally and I have not tried to run a normal cycle because the washer is in an upstairs location and draining is difficult and messy. ___I believe that something is preventing the voltage from being sent to the pump motor but I have am not sure what logic conditions need to be satisfied for this to happen.I keep looking at the pressure switch because the drum will perform a load sense and then go into a spin cycle with water in it which sloshes around. Questions: --Shouldn't the drain pump normally be running prior to the spin? --what causes the change in the pressure switch? Does the switch only change at a "full" level? Please only answer if you have a clear understanding of the system. I am trying to avoid excessive expense in this repair and swapping parts unnecessarily. I am beginning to think that it is the control board and do not want to spend hundreds of dollars if it is not. Thanks.
