My brother 546d doesn't sew everything seems to work fine, but fabric comes through unstitched. I took it to a repair place and they said there was nothing wrong with it. But still doesn't stitch.

Did the repairman actually stitch with it--did he create a stitch sample? If so, then it may be something on your end. Make sure it is threaded correctly. Also, install brand new needles.

How to fix decorative stitches for sewing machine.

Make & Model??? Sounds like the stitch selector mechanism is stuck. If it's a mechanical machine, you can try oiling the mechanics of the stitch selector with Tri-Flow Synthetic Oil and then heat with hand-held hair dryer.

My brother pe770 is allowing bobbin thread to show on top sporadically which makes the stitching look like it is speckled with white. I have adjusted tension..cleaned and changed everything.

when sewing these parts of the design, (small stitches? ) load your bobbin with the same top thread. Just match the top thread color, and done! No more white bobbin thread in the topside of your designs.

I keep missing a stitch

Skipping stitches can be caused by a bent or dull neeedle or a needle that is not suited for the fabric you are sewing on.

My white rotary model 2221 sewing machine will no longer switch from straight to decorative or zigzag stitching. What can I do to fix it? I have cleaned and oiled the machine and have recently used it...

it's possible that the cams that do the zigzag stitch could be worn or have gotten damaged
it would be a good idea to have it serviced

I would suggest to look in the yellow pages & see what sewing machine repair shop are in your area.

and if you do get it serviced, when you first get it home, sew on it & make sure it works correctly, they normally have a 15 to 30 day time limit for you to check the machine out & making sure it works ok, & make sure that you don't just pay for a cleaning..

I purchased a White Sew E-Z Model W338, 3days ago, and I cannot get the bobbin thread to come up with the spool thread so that I can use the machine.

We had the same issue. The needle was facing left/right instead of front/back. Once I unscrewed the needle and repositioned it so that I could thread it front/back, I was able to get it to catch.

Husqvarna Prisma 980 decorative stitch cassettes don't work

On that machine, the cassettes aren't actually computer chips. Each cassette has a little spot of white on a certain little area you must find (top right I'm pretty sure). Look in the machine at that point. There is a sensor that looks for that white spot, and as it identifies it, it changes stitches according to that cassette. Either the sensor is blocked, gone bad, or you can put a fresh coat of white paint on with white out. I hope this helps.

Brother mechanical sewing machine XL-5060 - Can't select stiches

I have been provided with the solution by Brother.

If I turn the Stitch Length dial to "SS" I can select stitches from 10 onwards.

Wish they could have put that in the manual!.

Balance wheel is totally jammed

machine was working fine when suddenly it just jammed up. Everything seems to be fine, but the balance wheel is completely jammed rigid. I've looked at the shuttle and there are no thread jams at all. The needle moves fine from side to side with different stitch selections, but wont go up and down with the wheel.
I have tried looking in the machine, but I can't find any thread jammed.
