I have Bulova and found on the case M0 or MO, does this mean the year 1960?

Yes, Bulova used M0 to indicate the year 1960, but the marking on the case may not necessarily match the movement. It is not uncommon to find a movement that was produced one year earlier or one year later in a case made for the model. So, although the case of your watch was produced in 1960, the movement may be from 1959 to 1961.

How do I set the alarm on model wau111a tag watch

  • Pull out the crown to the alarm setting position. The crown is located on the right side of the face of the watch. Pull the crown out until "AL", the alarm indicator, is shown on the watch. Depending upon the model of your Tag Heuer Aquaracer watch, you will either pull the crown out in the first or second position.
  • Select the hours and minuets for the alarm. Once your watch is in the alarm setting position, press the bottom right button on your watch. This will enable you to select the hours and minuets that you want to set the alarm for.
  • Set your alarm. To begin setting your alarm turn the crown clockwise until the desired hour or minutes are displayed on your Tag Heuer Aquaracer watch. If you happen to accidentally pass the alarm time, turn the crown counter-clockwise the get back to the desired alarm time.
  • Save your alarm. When you are ready to save your alarm, simply push in the crown. Once your alarm sounds, to silence it press any button on your Tag Heuer Aquaracer watch.

I would consider taking the watch to a professional jeweler, it probably needs a good cleaning and possibly a part replacement, given the fact the watch is 22 years old.

I have a le coultre clock that will only run for about 6 hours. it is sitting level, but the pendulum just stops.

Hi, Firstly a Le Coultre clock is a fine thing and most be treated with care and attention. If the clock is sitting level (use a spirit level) then there is obviously a fault, which to me sounds like it could be in the hairspring. As the clock is obviously of age, it is very possible that all that has happened is that dust and stuff has gathered around the hairspring, causing it to not wind as tight as it really needs too. I would suggest sellotaping a ladies tight over the end of a hoover attachment and giving the movement a good old hoover. The tights will catch anything that comes off, so you can inspect it. The movements will need oiling too, once oiled you will see a difference. Hope this helps. Tom from Luxuysauce dot com

    Sector 250 Chronograph Alarm

the middle dial on the right side of the watch is used to switch from watch settings to alarm settings..
pull the middle dial out to put it in alarm mode.
    To set alarm:
    -pull the center knob out.
-with it out you can now use the bottom (right) knob to set the alarm.
-pull the bottom right knob out one notch
-turn the knob clockwise or counter clockwise to set the alarm time
-push the knob back in (all the way)

    the alarm is now set

if the center (right) knob is pulled out the alarm is ON
if the center (right) knob is pushed in the alarm is OFF
I have owned this watch for about 10 years now and love it.
the past few years the chronograph buttons (on the left side of the watch) were not working well rendering the chronograph and count down timer functions unusable.

repairing a chronographs is expensive and watch makers usually charge several hundred dollars which is not a feasible fee for a watch of this value so i decided to open it up my self and clean it up and that did the trick.. its working like new!

    enjoy the watch!
