Question about Salton RA5 5-Cup Rice Cooker
I purchased a Salton Homemade Yogurt Maker at the thrift store and followed a basic recipe on the internet. I used 2% milk, added powdered milk and fat free yogurt. The bottom is a little firm, but the top is more like milk. I cooked it for 6 hours. It tastes tart like yogurt. Do I need to cook it longer, use higher fat yogurt, or is it broken?
You don't mention the specifics of your recipe. Two quick questions to help troubleshoot:

Try looking online for improved recipies, I'm sure that there must be a community group for yoghurt making........This is the internet after all, It doesn't sound like it's broken, but I can't be sure....
