MY POWER MAX 5.8 SAYS THAT MY VOLUME IS OFF ON ONE HAND SET--HOW DO I TURN IT ON? THANKS EILEEN CARTER beileenc@bellsouth.net

There are different ways to adjust the ringer and speaker volume on your handset. Please see your owners manual for model specific instructions.
On most single handset units:
Ringer volume: Press the volume up or down arrow rapidly to change the ringer volume.
Speaker volume: When talking on the handset press the volume up and down arrow to increase or decrease the volume.
On other models:
Ringer volume
In standby mode, press the volume up key or volume
down key on the handset or base to select one of three
ringer volume (Off, Low, or High).

Earpiece and Speaker Volume
You can select from among of six volume levels on the
handset, and ten levels on the base. Pressing the
volume up key or volume down key on the handset or
base during a call will change the earpiece or speaker
volume. This setting will remain in effect after the
telephone call has ended.
If you press the volume up key when the earpiece is at
the maximum volume level, an error tone sounds.
The error tone also sounds if you press the volume down key at the lowest volume.

The glass of scanner hp2510 is broken how can i remove it and fix it

I can tell you how to get access to the glass panel, although I cannot remember how easy it is to remove the glass itself:
First remove the lifting lid by unplugging the jack plug connector at the back, then riase the lid to vertical position, pull the plastic tab in the middle of the hige towards you and wiggle the lid upwards so that it comes out. Then pull off the keypad label plate, then gently pull off the control panel (which has two ribbon cables attached) by sliding it forwards from back to front of the printer. Disconnect the ribbon cables from the control panel (they pull off) and thread the cables back through their retaining clips on the top cover. Now you can remove all FIVE retaining screws (Torx T-10 driver required) from the top cover and lift it off, leaving the ribbon cables in situ. You can then turn the top cover over and work on removing/ repairing the glass. I would say it s not worth bonding - just get a new piece of glass.

I cannot hear any sound out of my Polaroid TDX-01930B television.

Hello
First make sure that the "Mute" function is OFF. If it is set to "ON", no volume will be there.

Your TV has a volume lock function included [Global Volume Lock].

The remote comes preset to allow independent volume control of each selected device (Global

Volume Unlock). However, you may change the Volume Lock setting to Global Volume Lock so that

one device's volume will control volume in all other modes. After that, you can perform Individual

Volume Unlock on a selected device to set its volume control for independent operation or Global
Volume Unlock to remove all volume locking.
Locking Volume Control to One Mode (Global Volume Lock)
[1] Press and hold SET UP until the red LED blinks twice; then release.

[2] Enter 9-9-3 and then press the mode key for the device you want to control volume (for

example,TV). The LED blinks twice. Now when you press VOL+, VOL-, or Mute, the selected
device (for example, TV) will control the volume regardless of the current mode.
Unlocking All Volume Control (Restoring Global Unlock)
[1] Press and hold SET UP until the red LED blinks twice; then release.

[2] Enter 9-9-3 and then press VOL+. The LED blinks four times.
Volume is now independently controlled for all programmed devices.
Unlocking a Single Device's Volume Control
[1] Press a device key (TV, VCR/DVD, CBL/ SAT, or AUX).
[2] Press and hold SET UP until the red LED blinks twice; then release.

[3] Enter 9-9-3 and then press VOL-. The LED blinks four times. Volume is now
independently controlled for the selected devices.
OK
