Question about Canon PIXMA MP830 All-In-One InkJet Printer
I guess the power supply has have the problem ..
try to measure the output voltage of the power suppy of your printer using a voltmeter...if there's an enough voltage to run the printer..
the meter should read 30 V of voltage and 1. something of current...

I had the same issue. I knew it could not be the power supply since it is behind a very good surge protector. I also knew that the power strip was working find. What I needed to do is unplug the cord from the back of the printer and I let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes. I did this to both my canon printers that I had (both had the same problem not turning on) and it worked perfectly.
