Question about Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop Pro Keyboard

1 Answer

The Print key is not working

I recently purchased this wireless natural multimedia keyboard, and the only thing I can really complain about is that Microsoft has decided (in their infinite wisdom) to replace the Ctrl+P function to one key (it shares the F12 key).  Now I do know that the button does work as I have to use the F12 function for one of my programs, however when I try to use the the button for the print function, it doesn't response.  I have tried re-installing the software, but that did not resolve the issue.  Help please.  Thanks in advance.

Re: The Print key is not working

It depends what system you are running cetain programs and windows operating systems dont accept this shortcut

try going into controll panel clik keyboard and make sure hot keys are on

the only other reason is if you have eny other wireless functions running these can disrupt the signal from the keyboard to the computer turn off all wireless items and try agen

if none of these work try replacing the keyboard as it should work as long as hotkeys are on and the operating system you have accepts this function

I am having problem with setting up wireless natural multimedia keyboard, does it have a separate receiver transmitter

It shouldn't if the wireless keyboard and mouse came together as a set. Try reconnecting the keyboard first then the mouse.
Here is how....
Each should have a connect button on the under side of the keyboard and on the mouse. The receiver may have a button on the top to push to first then push the buttons on the keyboard and then the mouse.

Touchpad on Toshiba WIreless Keyboard PA3705D does not work. Help

I have the Toshiba PA3705D-1ET1 keyboard.
I experienced the same thing: keyboard working, but not the touchpad. I reinstalled all drivers that I could think off, but nothing helped. What actually did work for me was: remove the batteries of the keyboard for 10 seconds, then put them back in (while PC is turned on). Also ensure that the batteries are full and that you are in range of your PC (let's say less than 4 meters).

Left shift + T, right shift + E doesn't work on an hiper keyboard

Your shift key is broken, if this product was recently purchased, return it for another. If you've had it for a while and it just decided to stop working, your best bet would be to pry the Left Shift key off and clean around that area and properly attach the key back on - its possible it wasn't hitting the sensor when it was pushed down.

If this does not fix your problem please leave a comment and I will assist you further.

Print screen key doesnt work

try the print screen key on their computer keyboard. This will usually take the screen shot and place it into the computer clipboard. Once in the clipboard, a user can almost always paste that screen shot into a graphic program.
Then go to start, run, type in clipbrd and then hit enter.
