Backup all contacts and any files that you don't want to lose onto the memory card and then type *#7370# into your phone. Do not restore any data from PC Suite as this will bring back the problem.

I tried the above and it fixed the problem!

<star> <Hash> <7370> <hash>
does work, i've a prob with my hash key on my laptop hope every1 can under stand the symbol which represents a number, right bottom button
but MOST IMPORTANT
do keep a backup either on ur computer or ur memory card. u can have ur back up on memory card by going into tools>memory>options>backup phone memory
it will create back up of all except ur calender enteries
take care of ur data on phone
rest this code will take care of the problem that so many of u r facing
i did all the heck that every1 else has narated here. every thing failed except this
* <hash> 7370 <hash>

Hi there:

For months I've been searching on the Internet looking for a solution to my problem for my Nokia N95

It kept on saying that my phone memory was low and every time i deleted stuff (Including apps) the memory kept on eating away at its self with none of the memory that was there nowehere to be seen.

Save all your contacts and stuff you cherish on ur phone memory before u do this !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I tried the factory reset ( *#7370# ) and the software reset ( *#7780# ) entered the code "12345" after each one and they both reset.... entered my country, date, time etc.... but it never sorted out my memory problems

Another reset is the 3 button reset... this worked on my phone and thank F**k it has :-)

what you do is switch off your n95 turn it back on but keep ur fingers pressed on the:

The star button ( * )
The number three button ( 3 )
And the Green button ( one you start to make phone call with )

did the same with the country date time and brill 140 Mb's free memory yee haaaaaaaaa

Ok people the solution is here. if you got Free up the *ucking memory Error like me. Do the following It Works 1000000% To Reset your Nokia N95 do this:
1.Turn Off Your Damn Phone 2.Unplug Your Damn Charge-cable(Won't Work intill it's on charge) 3. Use three button combination: *Press and Hold the Green Button (SendButton) *Press and Hold button number (3) *Press and hold(*) button By holding the Send/3/* buttons combination just turn ON your Phone somehow with your fourth finger! :-) Keep pressing The Send/3/* buttons combination Untill Your Phone Starts up With The COUNTRY SELECTION Choose your Country, Date, and time and Wualla. You Got 140 megabyte free. I Fixed it my self just a few Seconds Away. Thanks For the help Guys. It really Works. Don't Use The Codes use the Three button vombination, and don't forget to unplug the charge cable before a three button trick. It really works believe me!
