Secondhand ,when I put heating on I can smell diesel fumes ,what could it be

Since there's very little information to go on, I'll guess...

Guessing it is a car or truck.

Guessing you have an exhaust leak under the hood.

Guessing the air intakes for heat are picking some of that up.

My lawnmower is fuming when i start it. what is causing it?

Is the air filter clean? Dirty air filter creates a vacuum sucking too much gas.
Is the choke not working properly?
It it's black smoke it's burning too much gas.
If it's blue smoke it's oil. If it's oil smoke did you over fill when you put oil in.
Over filling the oil will cause it to smoke.
Bad piston rings will cause the oil to burn also.

"I have a Mazda Bongo Brawny RF6C Diesel Engine with DPF, it showed an Engine Light, and I changed oil, oil filter, diesel Filter. I started it it picked but the engine light did not go...and I tried

you are going to have to plug in a diagnostic reader and find out what the problem is or to shut off the light . You could also drive it for 300KM and it should reset itself

It probably wasn't diesel in the oil unless someone put it there. Could be a piston.

Exhaust fumes in car mazda 5

I don't know about the fumes but the DPF (Diesel Particulated Filter) Is located in the exhaust. The corect oil needs to be used or it can block the filter & cause drivability problems. Sometimes people are also to soft on the car. You need to give it a bit once in a while not just put around town all the time or you will face the same issues. The regeneration process is where the engine runs at high revs to attemp to burn off the soot build up. They normally use a full synthetic low ash low phosphate engine oil expensive but if that is what it needs then that is what it needs. You should check if that oil is suitable & if not have it replaced. You can check on this site. http://www.datateck.com.au/lube/valv_auMS/

Oil in air filter wot causes this car in qustion is a jag xj8

This issue is caused by crankcase pressure issue.
Normally filtered air enters the engine, runs through the crank case and then is pulled into the intake through the PCV valve. Durning hard acceleration, the PCV valve closes (to prevent explosion of fumes in crank case and blowing valve covers and pan off) and the PCV system reverses, with fumes coming back through the filtered intake.

Usually there is minimal oil that gets back into the air cleaner.

So, when somthing goes wrong, like excessive blow by, for example, the crankcase pressure overcomes the PCV valve and intake of fumes capability, and oily starts showing up in the air filter.

Investigate the crankcase pressure and PCV system.

Diesel generator does not working

After using a diesel generator for a long time, some malfunctions may occur that will cause the generator fail to start.
If diesel generators fail to start, you can analyze the causes from fuel system failure, electric starting system failure, insufficient compression pressure in the cylinder and the low ambient temperature and other factors.
1. Air in the fuel system
2. Fuel line obstruction
3. Fuel filter clogging
4. The handle position of fuel injection pump is not correct
5. Battery power shortage
6. Run out of fuel
