Recently I am unable to print any kind of Word Document or text,

Sounds like your print drivers may be currupted.
What you want to do is go here and dload new drivers:

then goto add/remove programs and uninstall your exsiting drivers.

Now install the new drivers you dloaded

This should solve your problem but if not post back and we can find another solution.

Screen Resolution

It sounds more like a graphics driver issue than an issue with your monitor.
If you have onboard video then you need to know the make and model of your computer/mobo and get the drivers from the vendors website.
If you have a stand alone graphics card you will need to know the make and model# of the card and get the drivers for it.
You don't have internet at home so you should write down the info you need and bring it somewhere you can get on the net and burn a cd. go to the vendors website to dload the appropriate drivers copy them over to the cd and then bring them home on the disk and install them.
Hope this was clear
