Question about Apple iTunes

1 Answer

ITunes halts purchase. Says media is on max number of computers.

When attempting to purchase a song from iTunes, I receive an error message telling me I've already downloaded the media to the maximum number of computers. Problem is, I'm trying to make this first-time purchase from my ONLY computer, so it would be impossible to max out the number of downloads. How do I resolve?

You can "migrate" to your new computer and put all your itunes library onto your new mac. You'll need to authorize the computer for access to any songs you may have purchased on itunes, but if you reached the max number of computers, you'll need to deauthorize one of the older ones first... it's all doable via the menu on itunes...
