Sounds like your panel might be going out or a faulty video card. This is the first time I have heard of a solid pink screen on a plasma. Usually this happens on LCDs, though they sometimes go white and stay white, which does signal a bad panel. tv needs repair

Alrite if your plasma power supply fails its either the fuse or A comman heat seak needs to be replaced or welded back to the board if this happes you plasma will short out the screen and the tv will work but no picture they will say I the video board was out but really it just burned out the lower power or low feq there is a tiny switch on the main power board saying h-L flick the switch to H and turn down the picture refesh a 8th of a turn to the right And ur screen should flicker on the turn it back a qurter of a turn to the left and boom A working dawooo tv :) its a easy fix just remeber to turn down the refresh rate else u will blow it up
