does it not light up at all? A microwave has a fuse on it. Probably accessible from the back panel. if not you would need to disassemble it. Most likely cause of this is slamming the door broke one of the safety switches the door has so the microwave knows when the door is open. And it shorted against something when it broke. It might have simply blew the fuse but then again you might have fried it.

what is the problem with it im guessing it prob doesnt heat, if so prob need to get acess inside and check components i would recommend getting a service call as some componoents inside are still live even when unplugged,, it might require a magnetron which would be fairly expensive but if u dont wana replace it than i guess its your only option.. hope this helps

The door handle can easily be replaced on most microwave ovens by removing the inner door panel that goes around the perimeter of the glass. The following link explains how to access and replace the door handle:
The average cost for a replacement handle usually averages about $20 - $40. Replacements may be purchased at the websites listed in the link I provided. If the model number you have this question listed under is correct, the part number for a replacement handle is available at appliancepartspros.com. There are several part numbers listed, based on the color of your oven, so make sure you order the correct handle. Here is the parts listing:
If you have any questions, please post back and let me know. I hope this helps you

The pop sound is an indicator the magnetron is gone that heats the food. It is cheaper to replace the microwave oven than have it repaired.
