I would guess that your default settings have changed for some reason.
the easiest way will be to uninstall IE7 and re-install it again. that will take few minutes and everything will work for you:
1. go to : http://www.microsoft.com/windows/internet-explorer/default.aspx
2. download the file and save it to your desktop
3. go to Control panel --> add/remove software--> remove IE7
4. install IE7 again

I can not upgared my internet explorer

Download the Internet Explorer 8 and install it, this will automatically replace your IE7 with the new IE8.

You can easily download IE8 from:

Replace internet explorer 8 with internet explorer 7

You need to find the old installation files for IE7, uninstall IE8, install IE7 and then make sure that automatic updates are switched off, otherwise Windows will update it to IE8 again automatically.

Are you sure you want to use IE7? IE8 is more secure.

In fact, Firefox is much more secure and faster than either IE7 or IE8.

I need to change my internet explorer 8 to internet explorer 7 & i have windows vista

Hi,
Click on the start menu (orb), go to the Control Panel and select Programs & Features. From the list of installed software locate IE8 and uninstall it.

Restart your computer and download IE7 from here (its say's it's for XP, just ignore that it will work on Vista)

May i also recommend Mozilla Firefox. This much easier and faster than any version of Internet Explorer. Get it here >>>>>

What are the latest features of IE 8 which make it better than IE 7?

First of all it's about performance. Internet Explorer is much faster than IE7. Also IE8 has IE7 web compatibility. IE8 has many scripting, memory management, networking and rendering engine improvements.

Also for web developers, IE8 has improved DOM (document object model), has developer tools option too.

It might have been caused due to some problem in internet explorer 7(IE7)

Try to uninstall IE7. You can use the following method if it does not show up in add/remove programs.
Reference: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/927177
NOTE:

IF SP3 was installed AFTER IE7, you MUST uninstall SP3 first, uninnstall IE7, then re-install SP3. If SP3 is NOT installed, simply follow the procedure as shown.

Step 1:

Make hidden files and hidden folders visible
Click Start, and then click My Documents.
On the Tools menu, click Folder Options.
Click the View tab.
In the Advanced settings list, under Hidden files and folders, click Show hidden files and folders, and then click OK.
Step 2:

Uninstall Internet Explorer 7
To uninstall Internet Explorer 7, follow these steps:
Click Start, and then click Run.
In the Open box, type %windir%\ie7\spuninst\spuninst.exe, and then click OK.

I need to get instructions as to ho2w to uninstall Exporer and reinstall to try to correct a reliability issue

To avoid possible headaches from interference, I suggest you uninstall in Safe Mode:
Turn your PC on or Restart. As soon as you see the black and white screen, press and hold the F8 key. Continue holding until you see a black and white menu. Safe Mode is F3 or F5.

Uninstall IE7
1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel. 2. Click Add or Remove Programs. 3. Scroll down to Windows Internet Explorer 7, click it, and then click Change/Remove.
If for some reason Windows Internet Explorer 7 does not appear in the Add or Remove Programs you should:
1. Open Windows Explorer 2. Click Tools | Folder Options 3. Click the View tab 4. Make sure the radio button next to Show hidden files and folders is on  5. Click OK 6. Click Start, and then click Run 7. Type: %windir%\ie7\spuninst\spuninst.exe into the text box and click Enter
If you find yourself still needing help uninstalling Internet Explorer 7, check out the IE7 release notes found on the Microsoft MSDN Web site.

Can I run download ie 6 if ie7 is pre-installed on my computer?

Hi Mary,

Mostly, new system with windows vista operating came with Internet explorer 7 which is the update of your internet explorer 6. You can still install IE6 but that could cause a problem with your system registry because you are reverting your internet explorer to the old version.

If you are playing video using your dvd rw you may need to use windows media player or you may need to use power dvd or any video/dvd player that came with your computer.

You dvd/rw is a device where you can write or copy your pictures, documents or any files on a blank dvd or cd.

keep me posted.
