If there is a small hole on the panel of your dvd drive push a straightened paper clip inside until you feel it press down this will open up the drive. If your computer came with a motherboard disk the drivers could be on it Click start control panel administrative tools computer management device manager scroll down cd dvdrom drives if you see a yellow question or exclamation mark? ! or a red x right click you will need to update the driver or select properties general troubleshoot, select driver click to reinstall drivers click update driver You might have to physically unplug the leads for this cd/dvd restart your computer then plug them back this should activate the found new hardware wizard WARNING: Before you start troubleshooting remember that you are dealing with electricity that can KILL. http://www.kitchentablecomputers.com/static.php - rules Only work inside the computer case when the power has been switched off and disconnected.
