Hold down your finger on the icon you want to delete, then all the apps will start shaking and a little 'x' will come up in the top right corner of each icon. Just click the little 'x' to delete whichever icon you want
it is one of the most basic things to know for iPad owners:
icons (or Apps) will be deleted if you press for some seconds on it and after it shakes you may delete it in pressing on What needs to be done to remove an iPad application:
hold on to the icon that you wish to uninstall.
After some seconds continous pressing, the App icons will begin to shake.
Then tap the close button which will be denoted by 'X' symbol on the top left corner on one of the icons you wish to delete
You will be prompted whether to delete the application.
You will have to click on the delete button.
If you wish to re-install the application later again, you will have to go to the App Store and then download again.
deleting apps are easy. just put the icons on wiggle mode by keeping your finger on one of the apps. Once they start wiggling just press the "x" that pops up on the top left corner of the app you want to delete. Once you delete all of the apps you can press the home button to stop the icons from wiggling. Just know that the stock apps like the camera, photos, clock, newsstand, etc etc you can't delete.
To delete apps on an iPhone you simply press down with your finger on the icon of the app you want to remove and don't lift your finger off the screen until the icons start giggling and an x shows up on each of the icons. Now press the x to remove any app (icon) you don't want. When done press the home button to get out of delete / move mode. Some icons you cannot remove, such as system icons.

Pop your memory card into your card reader, wait about 15 secs and it will appear on your computer as a drive. Double click on this drive and you will see either a lot of icons corresponding to the photos on the card or a lot of thumbnail pictures of the photos. Again right click on the drive and click on select all on the popup box. When all the icons or thumbnails are highlighted left click on them and the click on delete on the next popup box. Whatever you do DON'T try to format the card with your computer. If you want to format a memory card for a camera always use the camera's format function to do so.
By the way, the photos can also be removed by using the delete function in your camera's menu display.
Make sure the record inhibit tab on the memory crd isn't activated. If it is you won't be able to delete anything.
Use the Nokia Photos application on your PC. Connect your phone to the PC using for example USB cable. In the left top corner of the application the name of your phone should appear. Click on it - it will turn green. Now you will see the photos on your phone. Select the icons that you want to delete and press delete (on the keyboard).
