SOURCE: My splendide 2100XC is running through the cycles

"The red light will start flashing along with the pre wash light". There is a fault code on this. How much time the light blinks.does the light blinks non stop or does it blinks few times then stop blinking then again starts blinking.Exactly how many times the light blinks then pauses then again blinks. ------------- Example If the Status/Door Lock light, • Flashes 3-times • Pauses for 10 seconds • Then, flashes 3 times The machine is displaying an "F03" Fault Code. --------------------------- There is owners manual for your washing machine available. In that the details are provided about the blinking lights.click this link directly:----- http://www.splendide.com/splendide_wd2100xc.htm ------------ Also click this link for direct manual:--- http://www.splendide.com/service/TRAINMAN_Complete.pdf --------- It has been seen in some cases that. Prewash light flashing is a fill problem.
A faulty inlet valve or if drain hose is in a stand pipe it could be siphoning. Check the inlet valves to see if one has gone open circuit.
you should check:

1. The outlet pipe, for blockages or feeding into a blocked outlet
2. The pump: is something jammed in it?
3. The trap on the bottom of the machine: is it filled up? (Hard work; be careful!) (It is difficult to remove without damaging anything, and put back on, and you have to clean it very thoroughly before refitting)
4. The soap dispenser tray: is it gunked up badly? Wash that mould off!
5. Does the water dribble in? Check the inlet pipes, the filter where they come in, and the water valves in extremity. ---------------------------
If they are fine then its the control board at fault.

You can get required parts from www.repairclinic.com

SOURCE: The Splendide 2100xc, during the wash cycle, keeps

Hello manb. When the cycle doesn't advance, it's probably the timer or a cold-water supply problem:

It's the timer, if your washing machine fills with water and begins agitating, but the timer never advances--or if the washer is in a spin cycle and the timer won't advance. Then you need to replace the timer. It may be a cold-water supply problem, if the washing machine fills with water, agitates, drains, and spins, but then doesn't fill with rinse water. Some washing machines allow cold water to enter only during certain cycles. Others intermittently allow hot and cold to enter, to temper the temperature of the water. Consult your owner's manual if you are unsure about whether the machine is acting abnormally. If you're sure the machine is not working the way it used to--or should--check the following. Is the cold water turned on? If not, turn it on. Is the washer getting hot water but no cold water? If so, check to see if the control panel settings are correct. Is there cold water coming through the proper hose? If not, check to see if the screen inside the water-inlet valve is clean. (The water-inlet valve is the device on the washing machine that the fill hoses are attached to.) If it's clean, you probably have a defective water-inlet valve. If so, you need to replace the valve. Joe Thanks for choosing Fixya!

I called the support and they had me clear a tissue or paper towel from one of the lines. If you call they will steer you to the right hose on the bottom of the unit

Lock door blinking along with the low heat pre-wash also

I just had the same problem. I called splendide. First thing they asked me was if this was happening when I was trying to dry. And, it was. I was told lint clog and that there is a cycle you can run to hopefully clear it. Below is the instructional e-mail they sent immediately. Love the company - tech service on the phone is wonderful. :)

e-mail from splendide:
Run the unit without clothes and with the dry time off on cycle # 11. When the water stops entering the unit push and hold the start button until all the lights come on then release the button. Next, move the cycle knob to cycle # 2 and press the start button once (do not hold) then let it run through that complete cycle.

Door lock not engaging on our spledide XC 2100

I'm Sorry to post a complete "Gerry Rig" solution to the problem: I inserted a plastic clip in the door lock to fool the machine that the door was locked; removed the clip then secured the door with a tension rod. It ran its full cycle without a leak. I think the plastic door mechanics was inadequately engineered. Our Machine is less than 6 months old?- Im on the road & have to make things work on the fly. Warning my next fix might include Duct Tape Good Luck Everyone Kevin_ByDesign

Spendide 2100 won't do dry only cycle?

I own a Splendide 2100; it is installed on my sailboat. I love it, but it is a little picky. To do a "dry only", set the time you want and then ensure the dial is on "Reset" (doesn't matter which one). The LED should flash very slowly indicating it is ready to run a cycle. Turn the dial to the "Dry" indicator of the dry cycle you want. You will hear a very short gush of water (not sure why it does this) and the dryer will start. If you want to stop it before the time runs out, turn the dial to "Reset", power it off for at least a minute, then turn it back on. You should hear the lock click letting you know you can open it. Don't force the handle or you can break it.

Splendide 2100 washer/dryer now fails to dry -

Remove the top - two screws in the back then slide forward
In the front right top you will see the air box and the terminals for the heater coil along with other wires and sensors. Start the washer on a dry cycle and check the voltage to the heater terminals. You will be looking for 120 AC. If voltage there but no heat the heating element is bad. If no voltage there follow the wires to the overheat switches and check the voltage on the other side of these switches (round devices with two terminals on top). If there is voltage there then the switch has tripped. Unplug the machine. Look for a spot of paint on this switch, scratch it away and you will see a small hole. Insert a strightened paper clip into this hole and push to reset the switch. Re-power and test the results.
No power to these switches probably means a bad circuit board $$$.
