Question about T-Mobile MDA

Tmobile MDA factory default message

I recently dropped my MDA and it did have contact with minimal water when it fell. Hence, the water stamp on the inside of battery compartment turning pink. So now when I try and turn it on the light on the top turns red and I get a black screen with white letters saying: "Press Send to restore factory default, other keys to quit" And when I press send nothing happens, when I press other keys nothing happens....I really like this phone and want to know if its repairable.

It would seem he water has coroded the keyboard contacts. You could carry it to a servicenter and ket the keyboard contacts cleaned

Wet G1 Tmobile htc fell in water a while ago


Don't turn it on until it's dry again.
Maybe it could work again.
If not, you'll need to take to a cell phone fix place.

Inbox receive time is wrong.


I work for tmobile tech, and we did have an outage recently in certain areas where the time stamp has been incorrect. The last time i checked this problem was resolved for the most part.
I would really suggest you power cycle daily(turn your phone completely off) once a day. Try putting your Sim card into another phone and check if it continues. If it does its a network issue and please contact Tech support. Most likely it might be what we call a Trouble Ticket.

Turn the bluetooth off to the phone it could be its always trying to send to bluetooth. If not your speakers are gone.

Try charging it with the AC adapter it came with.

If that doesn't work try charging it via your computer using a USB cord

Phone does not charge battery


Use the factory charger, i had that problem becuz i was using a razr charger, if nothing works call tmobile and tell them u r in warentee and u want to do a hanset exchange

Tmobile Mda Wont Turn On


I would call them at 1-800-t-mobile to make sure your service is set up correctly (if it isn't it may explain why it takes so long to locate the network) or you could use their customer care site at http://www.t-mobile.com/Contact.aspx to find a store that will replace/repair it for you.
