SOURCE: my wlan (function/F10) key doesn't work/light stays amber!!!!! No wireless internet/Internet only works when directly plugged into PC.

Check in device manager for the wireless card. Right click 'my computer' select 'properties' click the hardware tab and device manager, it should be listed as a network device. if it's listed update the drivers, it may just be disabled in windows. If it's listed as installed and working correctly in device manager it may be faulty.
you can also try running 'cmd' to lauch the command prompt and typing "ipconfig /all" this will show all available devices in your computer and their state.

Good luck.

Hit the wireless key in the upper right section of your keyboard.

You can see exactly where it is located on page 6 of this document:

My wireless button wont turn on?

either your drivers are missing, which you can get from the HP site under the support tab....or you need to switch it on using the switch or holding down the FN key on your keyboard & pressing the wireless key, which should be on an F key with a little picture of a wireless symbol.
Like the one below:

Wii console not working correctly

When you connect to the internet wirelessly and Wii Connect24 your Wii will stay connected and recieve messages, updates, etc. That is why the disk area stays blue and the amber light stays on. Sometimes this will create a power failure. Just unplug your Wii from the wall and let it rest for a few minutes and plug it back in. The problem should be solved.

Microsoft wireless laser keyboard 6000 v2.0 keyboard not working

You have to press the button on the receiver that is directly connected to the computer. While doing this, press the connect button both the mouse and the keyboard. I did this and now my keyboard is working, despite the battery indicator turning itself off a few seconds after I install it.

Hope this solves your problem.
