The only way to solve this problem is to replace the power supply board. It contains the LED driver circuit which fails early due to a design mistake. Midway Module repairs and updates this module so it does not fail again for this reason. You can find their repair service on eBay. Sony no longer supplies these modules, since they were produced by a sub contractor in Taiwan.

One thing you can try is to remove all cords attached to the tv including the power cord. wait a few minutes( maybe say a short prayer) then plug the power cord back in and try turning on the tv if it powers up. it maybe a short in one of the units that were plugged into the tv. If it still does not work it maybe a circuit board problem. Sony Bravias have been plagued with a lot of circuit board issues. type in Bravia problems on any search engine and you will see what I mean. You may be able to get it repaired but you best course of action is to buy a different tv. a Vizio or Samsung or anything but a Sony

Try leaving the TV unpugged for 30 minutes so the TV can reset itself.
If that doesn't work, most likely the TV has a power supply related problem. The most common thing to go out is the circuit board that supply power to the screen. Commonly called a Backlight Inverter Board.
I can't say it's 100% the problem because I can't actually look at the tv over the internet.
If by chance the TV is still under warranty, go that route.
If not under warranty and If you have some electronic experience, you can purchase a Service Manual over the internet and diagnose the source of the problem and fix it by soldering in the new part. The Service Manual will give you flashing red light codes, circuit diagrams, test points, and part# lists. Usually, cost under $20.
I hope I shed some light on the subject for you.

sorry. Hope you still have a waranty. This is not an uncommon problem with the sony's. 99% chance that the panel went out. Could also be a balance board issue, but usually not. Call Sony for an authorized repair center
