Question about Adobe Systems Adobe AIR

1 Answer

Each time my PC reboots I get a message from Adobe Air "Application descriptor could not be found for this application. Try re-installing or contacting the publisher for assistance." I have un-installed and re-installed this program several times. The message continues to show up. It has yet to affect the operation of my PC, however this message is an annoyance. Please tell me how to get rid of it. The PC is a HP Pavillion HPE. The operating system is Windows 7

This application requires a version of adobe air which can not be found(runtime error)

Download and install adobe air, by www.adobe.com.
It is a free software from adobe. But you should have installed adobe-9 or upper version to your system, before downloading this add on. It too can be downloaded by the above said site. Might take some time to download and install. That's all.

Hi,

This issue is related to the traces found after the removal also,

so try rebooting the machine after removing the application.as the reboot will remove the traces and no identity related to application will be found.

then reinstall the latest application.

Every time i try to start ub funkeys i get an error message that says "error occurred at application start". Tried reloading and installing the patch, rebooting all to no avail

ub funkeys needs Adobe flash player installed, it could be your problem. It seems not a software itself problem since you have tried installing it several times.
HAve you tried in another PC? Which O.S. do you have?
Funkeys dont work under Windows seven, the software was developed for XP and there is no drivers for W7.

Hi,
Solution Remove Adobe PDF from the Disabled Items list in the Microsoft Office application. To manage your Disabled Items list in a Microsoft Office application:
  1. Open the Microsoft Office application (Word, Excel, Publisher).
  2. Choose Help > About [the application name].
  3. Click Disabled Items.
  4. Select Adobe PDF from the list, and then click Enable.
  5. Quit the Microsoft Office application, and then restart it.

If the error message continues to appear after you enable Adobe PDF, then check the security level for macros in Word:
  1. Choose Tools > Macro > Security.
  2. In the Security dialog, click the Security tab.
  3. Choose Medium or High.
  4. Do one of the following:
    • If you chose Medium, then click OK.
    • If you chose High, then continue with steps 5 through 7.
  5. Click the Trusted Publishers tab.
  6. Check Trust all installed add-ins and templates.
  7. Click OK.
PDFMaker and the right-click context menu should function again.
