You may try to reset the printer per HP instructions.
1. Turn on printer with power button
2. With printer on, disconnect power cord from rear off printer.
3. Unplug power cord from outlet
4. Wait at least 15 seconds
5. Plug the power back into the outlet
6. Reconnect power cord to the rear of the printer
7. If printer does not come on, press the Power button.

SOURCE: Paper Mismatch

The problem is the "spot sensor" that resides on the side of the carriage assembly. It shoots out a ray of light on to the paper when the paper is fed into the printer for printing. It tells the machine..."Hey...there's paper there, start printing". If this sensor is not working properly you will get the error that you are receiving. Most of the time the light still comes on but the sensor board cannot process. You will need to replace the spot sensor of which we have many of....There is a thin plastic piece on the right side of the carriage that covers this sensor. It removes easily so you can see what i'm talking about. Its very easy to replace as well.

HP 6110 Officejet all-in-one will not print from the glass top. It will make prints coming from the computer after I press "enter" from message "paper jam". I also can fax. Please help.

You will need to open the top and look inside where the paper travels through and attempt to free any paper pieces that have gotten stuck in the pathway. You probably have a bad board in your control panel, since you are able to print from the computer.

HP all in one printer 6110 Computer says printer is out of paper, but printer doesnk't show any error messages. I have unplugged it and re- set it. It does have paper! I can copy a page from the top...

Make sure you inserting the paper not deep inside just insert and stop it when you feel any resistance .and try to print something. If it is print then well otherwise you have to show it service center.
Hope this helps. Please rate my response.
Thanks.
Have a good day.

Not printing

Hi ,
There may be several causes for this problem.
I will tell you one by one, and you try it.

CAUSE: 1
The printer is not
receiving power.
SOLUTION:1
Check the power cord connections.
Check the power switch and the
power source.

CAUSE:2
The printer is not
selected as the
default printer.
SOLUTION:2
Select Xerox Phaser 6110
Series as your default printer.

CAUSE:3
Check the printer for
the following:
• The printer cover is
not closed.
• Paper is jammed.
• No paper is loaded.
• A toner cartridge is
not installed.
SOLUTION:3
After locating the problem, clear it.
If a printer system error occurs,
contact your service representative.
• Close the printer cover.
• Clear the paper jam.
• Load paper.
• Install the toner cartridge.

CAUSE:4
The printer may be in
manual feed mode
and out of paper.
SOLUTION:4
Check the message on the Status
Monitor program window, add paper
to the tray and press the
button on the control panel.

CAUSE:5
The connection cable
between the
computer and the
printer is not
connected properly.
SOLUTION:5
Disconnect the printer cable and
reconnect it.

CAUSE:6
The connection cable
between the
computer and the
printer is defective.
SOLUTION:6
If possible, attach the cable to
another computer that is working
properly and try to print a
document. You can also try using a
different printer cable.

CAUSE:7
The port setting is
incorrect.
SOLUTION:7
Check the Windows printer setting
to make sure that the print job is
sent to the correct port. If the
computer has more than one port,
make sure that the printer is
attached to the correct one.

CAUSE:8
The printer may be
configured
incorrectly.
SOLUTION:8
Check the printer properties to
ensure that all of the print settings
are correct.

We can't take copies and prints with our hp officejet 6110 all-in-one printer.I think we've got this problem because;we haven't got driver for our printer. Thanks for help.

The person making the clarification request is right. Even if your printer isn't connected to a computer, it should still be able to copy. That means it probably isn't a driver issue.

I did find a page at the HP web site that talks about troubleshooting copy problems. The web page is pretty long but the link I'm providing should open the page to the right section:

Nothing happens when the copy button is pressed

Since you can't copy or print, it may be that the two problems have the same cause, such as a paper jam. Take a look at the contents on that link and see if it helps. Post back your results. Good luck.

Will not print

We will experience this issue if the documents are pending on the printer icon or if the printer icon is paused. Check the status of the printer icon in control panel and clear all the pending documents and make it online if it is offline and then try to print.

Printer says paper jam, but no paper is jammed

Check the following information.......
http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Other-printing-questions/Paper-Jam-Error/m-p/305772#M20513
or
most of the time for a paper jam, there is a QUEUE of papers waiting to be printed. id take out the usb cable via the back of the computer {the one that connects to the printer} go into the control panel, look for printers, double click on that, find the printer, it should say {working offline} right click that, choose the uninstall/delete opts. turn off the printer. reboot the machine, wait until it boots all the way up. take the printer, turn it on, then plug back in the usb cable to the back of the machine. if it is windows either xp/vista it will auto find the usb cable and install automatically. you can then go back to the control panel, printers and it should be listed in the directory. try to right click go to properties of the printer and do a TEST PRINT, should print out.
