You have a wiring issue, bad ground, incorrect relay, loose connection, faulty alarm horn... start with the alarm horn as they often fail due to debris build up and corrosion issues at the internal/external contacts... then check ground and make sure the circuit you added is on its own fuse and is not just jumped from another circuit... My viper alarm system when armed and disarmed there is no sound from the speaker

Either the system is in valet or, the chirps have been deleted or, the siren is broken.
If the LED is on solid the system is in valet. open the door, press lock, unlock, lock on the remote to remove valet.
Press and hold the lock button. This activates the car finder/panic. The siren should begin to wail. If it does, the siren works. If it doesn't and all you see is the aprking lights flashing the siren is defective.

Won't let the starter kick in, replaced car battery helpk

dear kenny349
try to "give" 12 volts directly to the siren cables. if it works - siren ok, not - check relay, if it does not switch then propably your alarm isnt giving any kick to it. check or let check alarm unit.
hope it helps, feel free to contact me here under your topic for further help, pls before voting
kind regards

Hi! Just had ADT install security system and it is a Simon XT. Door units, motion sensors and control unit are in house. They also put a motion sensor in garage, which is detached. My understanding is...

My understanding is that GE does not produce a wireless interior siren any longer. So if yo want to get a siren in the garage a wire will have to be run from the Simon 3 to the location in the garage where you would like to place the siren. PS ADT will not run wires to a detached garage. GL

2003 dodge truck won't start -security light blinks on dash-everything is locked down

pretty vague, but you should find a button or a small switch under dash area drivers side probably. Turn the key on flip the switch or push the button, the alarm should then let you start the car. sounds like the siren isn't working
