Question about Computers & Internet
Help again, Problem Maytag gas dryer not drying cloths. You and a few more said it was most likely the gas coils. I then ordered them and they are changed. THE PROBLEM is still there. AS the response from you stated need more information well here it is. Maytag, Model number is LDG9606AAE Serial number is 10818220QU. I think the cycle is right but the gas does not stay on long enough to heat up the drum. Everything has been cleaned out and the flow is there. The cycle starts with the click from the back of the dryer, then the ignighter comes on, then the gas fires a nice blue flame and then goes out within 15 seconds. In about 2+ minutes it starts the same all over. What will be the problem if the flame does not stay on long enough to heat up the drum? After 60 minutes the clothes are still very damp. After 2 hours them may be dried. Any all help would be greatly appreciated. Again the gas coils were changed out Thank you.
Here's an idea, is your machine in a well ventilated area? Gas powered devices have oxygen sensors that detect when the oxygen level drops to a dangerous level, this shuts off the gas, but not the machine. Put a fan in the room, open the window or door and try again.

SOURCE: I have a Kenmore HE 3, model number 110.8787,8789. I cleaned the lint screen, unscrewed the plastic that holds the screen and cleaned all lint out. After doing so, my dryer won't start. The lig
when you removed the screen from the inside you disconnected the wires from the 2 metal strips. now you need to remove the lower panel on the front. and reconnect them. you will need a T-20 torx and unplug the dryer to be safe. the wire will have 90 degree push on connectors and it does not have any polarity concerns. the two male connectors are real close to the top of the panel, maybe even slightly under the other panel. It could be a problem with the timer. get a pro to look at the timer, it could be dirty or faulty.
