This is either the front seal that goes from the outer tub to the front of the washer or a hole in the outer tub itself or one of the hoses underneath the seal and the hoses are easiest to check you can take a cup of water and slowly pour it into the front seal. take care not to overfill it to where it spills into the tub and see if you are getting water on your floor from that. the hoses tip the washer up onto its back and look at them from the bottom for any cracking etc. the tub itself can only rust out on some of the neptune models or on others is plastic and can get punctured. just have to look for damage with a light and a mirror.

The water pipes have been freezing up for the past two nights, got them thawed out, and started a load of laundry set on cold. Washer started normal, it made a small click noise as allways, and the water...

Have you taken the hose off of the back of the washer and checked to see if you are getting water to that point. Also check the inlet screen on the fill valve to see if it is clean.. You may need to replace the fill valve. There may be a screen in the inlet of the hose at the shut off valves.....So check both ends of the washer hose..... I would check the hoses first before I would replace the fill valve....Hope this helps

I don't get enough water through the pump to keep it running with pressure. Pump cycles on and off.

unfortunately this is rather common problem, there is several solutions, none easy. i assume that you already cleaned inlet filter and connection hose is good diameter. check your mains if it is fully open (open tap in full then back half turn), same with tap connected to your supply hose. try to re-locate washer as close as possible to your mains connector. do bear in mind that these washers require at least 2gallons of water per minute (9 litres per minute)

if this solution do not work, or it is not feasible, find some 20 litres (5gallon) canister which can survive mains pressure, connect it with very short hose to your pressure washer and other end to mains, i know this is not an ideal solution but it will give you about 3min bursts.

if you find my advice helpful, please do not hesitate to comment and leave voe4 for me, thanx!

The cold water just started to barely trickle on all cycles .... i checked the line going in to see if it had one of those mesh filters and it does not. how do i troubleshoot this?

You also want to check at the back of the machine where the hose connects. Some machines have a small screen inside the threaded portion of the valve that may trap debris. Be sure to check both ends of your cold water hose for screens also and be sure to run the cold water full blast through the hose directly into the washer before re-installing the screen (if there is one) to lift and eject any other heavy particles that may be floating around in the cold water supply. When doing this flush out method make sure the pressure is good and that you don't have a potential plumbing issue causing your troubles.
If none of these suggestions fit your next option is to replace the cold water valve.
Good luck!

Did you check the little filters in the end of the valves where the hose connects to the machine, also if these are original Electrolux hoses you will find that at the other end of the hose where they connect to the mains pipe there are fine wire mesh filters in the ends of the nylon connections. You may well have water flow but the pressure is not good enough, especially during the rinse cycles. If none of these fix the problem then you may have a faulty inlet valve.Wish you well.

I also have a front loader that is less than 4 years old and is leaking. Checked filter - nothing blocking.

things that cause leaks / does it leak when you arn't using it . ( ck the fill hoses ) run a cycle with the front panel off and look with light for leakage . the hoses underneath /the front rubber boot / pump hoses ( connections ) and note where water first show. . and get back with me. you have to be a good detective with some cases.. mm

Your complaint is a bit vague but since it had only been in the cycle for 1 min., it should have been too soon to have enough water to start washing, so it's possible that the fill valve may have shorted out. Unplug the washer and inspect the area where your hot and cold fill hoses connect to the washer. Turn the water off and remove the hoses. If you can gain access to the part that the hoses were connected to, you should be able to visualize where the burning came from. It is possible a small water leak may have dripped onto the coils of the valve and caused it to short out, so that will need to be fixed also.

Hopefully, This is what your problem is.
