Question about Audiovox Televison & Video
If I plug in my TV, it goes right to a clicking sound, but if I unplug it, it stops. There is no picture other then a black screen. It is 19' and an audiovox.
There is short circuited component/s at its main board. Power supply regulator section is working fine. You have to check for fault at its horizontal scan output section circuit. Check the horizontal scan output transistor, and check. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Pull up older posts.

check the bu transister in the horizantel stage and see if it has any voltage reaching there. if not. take the transister and check it out. I think it is needed to be replaced. good luck

Its a real good chance that the HOT (horizontal output tranistor) transistor is shorted if so the flyback trasformer may be bad also. the transformer will make a tick tick sound if it is trying to start.
