Question about GE JVM1860 Microwave Oven
Buzzing noise coming from control panel. can set the clock but that is all that i can do on the control panel without sensor coming on. buzz noise happens when door is open or when pressing buttons on control panel
That's almost always a defective filter capacitor on the control circuit board.
We regularly repair such control units for customers nationwide by mail for $39.95 postpaid in about a week or so with a one-year guarantee.
At our Web site, we have a video available showing how to remove a typical over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.
