I also have this same snow globe bought it in Pigeon Forge, TN this Christmas...today I decided to pull it out and use it and guess what?? It wont come on and my computer doesnt reckognize it either...Did you ever get yours working?? If so how?? Thanks
If you have all the pieces, it can be repaired. the tricky part is getting it refilled and sealed. If the globe is glass, you can use any cyanoacrylate glue (crazy or super). If it is synthetic, it is important to get an adhesive that is compatible with the material of the globe.
I am having the same problem the globe is inflated and the characters are rotating but no snow its all bunched up on the bottom and doesnt blow all the way up if you get an answer from gemmy its a miracle. if you solve it please contact me at email@example.com thanks.
i hope my advice will help you. What I would do is the first thing is take it to a ceremic workshop they have all clock parts music box parts phone parts as when people make these they sell them the parts and show them how to put them in if that dosent work or you are not near a ceremic workshop try a clock or a watch maker they will take a look and might be able to repair it. If not I would then go out look for a music box find the company that made it or the company that makes snow globes just type it into google manafactures of snow globes or who makes snow globes and send it off to them but call them first and ask them if they could fix it for you they will usually say yes either drop it into the repairs area or send it to them but you will have to call first.
Hope that helps
Once you have the box connected with the usb cable to the computer, you have to tilt it towards connect to pc. You might have to do this a couple of times the picture on the display should change to a usb cable. Now if you go to my computer you will see where it says pan digital. Here is where you can add the pictures. I just did add pictures. If you want the pictures in a certain order you will have to name them otherwise there are displayed in alphabetical order. I found this after I loaded everything and wanted them in a specific order. Right now I am trying to add sound. I see that there is a speaker but not sure how to add sound.
