How to load music to my samsung galaxy?

I have a Motorola Droid, but the same approach is likely to work, since they're both Android 2.0+.

Here's what I do:

1) I rip/store my music using Windows Media Player on my PC.

2) When I'm ready to transfer, I make sure Windows Media Player is open and then I connect my Droid to my PC using the provided USB cable, which happens to be the same cable that connects the phone to the charger. Plugging the phone in like this makes the phone storage visible much like a flash drive.

3a) At this point, Windows Media Player will recognize the storage and you will be able to sync your music library to it.

3b) Alternatively, the phone storage will be accessible via a drive letter. You can put your music files under the Music folder at the top of the "drive." (I prefer 3a, because it organizes the music better.)

I'm not familiar with Macs, so I can only speculate that the same idea should apply. The heart of it is that music goes under the Music directory at the top of the add-on SD memory card. The phone's music player is supposed to find and use all music files anywhere underneath that directory.

How do i install itunes onto my samsung omnia 2

You cannot directly install iTunes on a Windows based phone - you do have various options, however. You can install iTunes on your PC and download music to your PC and then transfer the tunes to the phone using either file transfer, Windows Media Player or Windows Media Centre, or you could copy the music onto a microSD card and insert that directly into your phone.

Note that if you transfer music from iTunes, you may need to "translate" the file format into WMV or MP3 format befoer transferring it to your phone.

I have a UTStarcom Shuttle. I am trying to play to play music

Put a microSD memory card (limit 4GB) in the phone. Take a few pictures and make a short video .Use the phone menu to transfer the pictures an video to the external memory card. Use the media player to watch your recorded video. Try to play music and you will get a no content found message. Now, turn off the phone, remove the memory card and place it into an adapter that will connect to a computer by usb port. Windows should recognize it as a removable drive. If you look at that drive in Explorer you will see 3 folders. Pictures are in my_pix. Videos are in my_flix. Transfer .mp3 files to the my_music folder. When you put the card back into the phone you can play the mp3 files with the media player. Yes, I did this and it works.

Sync device with windows media player 11 and load all the songs on there and transfer, or use file and transfer wizard, or when phone is plugged in, go to start menu, my computer, and find drive with phone on it, double-click, and save or transfer files to a file of your choice on your pc like music file.
Or download and use free program called bitpim from or verizon's free program should work as well

Your music may be located in a folder your phone doesnt recognize...that happend to me at first.

First you want to format your memory card through your phone. This will place the required folders on the card.

I used Windows media player to sync the music on my computer to the memory card using a media port on my computer. (just inserting the card directly to my computer). Once music was downloaded I looked at the card through "my computer", and noticed named "Music" and the other named "My Music". I moved the files from "Music" to My Music". Reinserted the card into my phone and the phone picked them up.
