Make sure in the setup menu that "Cable" is selected instead of Antenna or off air. then do a channel search with the cable box connected and powered up.

SOURCE: says no signal when switched to hdmi when there is one.

Have the same problem with a 532H - but here is what I did to resolve the issue:
1) Click your Menu button on the TV remote.
2) Go to Screen (click the right button)
3) Go to Main Picture Source (click the right button)
4) Select HDMI (click the Menu button when done)

SOURCE: Sony HDTV flat - no picture with HDMI cable and Verizon FIOS box

Probably a handshake problem with the cable box. It is common for cable boxes to have HDMI handshake problems. Hook the box up using the component cables and you should be fine

SOURCE: Television is not recognizing HDMI inputs

there is a possibility that there might have been a power surge sent over hdmi into the hdmi board on the tv. if on your model the hdmi board is seperate from the sine board then youll have a cheap replacement if not its gonna cost you roughly 300-400 is my guess.

call your repair guy

Trying to hook up my panasonic tc-p50c2 to comcast hd digital cable box and cant get it to work with hdmi cord..nothing is showing

Use only the hdmi cord to hook it up and go to menu on the tv and select hdmi for hook up and you should get a picture. Make sure your cable cord is the only cord running to the cable box , you don't need any other cord.

You cannot change aspect ratio when recieving HD signal. Try changing the cable box or satellite box format or aspect ratio.

I have my HDMI cord hooked up from the cable box to the tv and it still say "no signal" what do I do?

if you have more than one hdmi input try the other. if not try checking the menu setting be sure its on the right input lable i.e. hdmi1 hdmi2....etc

check the cable be sure its in working order, check the input device i.e. dvd, cable box, be sure there's an input signal too the tv.

If the problem is still there..... then the hdmi connector leads need re-soldering or hdmi circuit fuse has popped or hdmi buffer chip has a problem and needs replacing.

I'm thinking the Comcast DVR box maybe putting out weird HDMI signals and the TV can't translate it. I would call the Comcast people on this one.
In the meantime, I would try finding another source the uses a HDMI cable to rule out the TV as the problem. Basically, testing the TV to see if the problem still happens when you use something else than the Comcast box. Try a Blueray player, Playstation 3, or Xbox. Just something that uses a HDMI cable.

Green screen when pluged threw hdmi

TRY A NEW HDMI CABLE 1ST. ALSO TRY ANOTHER INPUT. IF IT IS GREEN ON BOTH YOU HAVE A SOFTWEAR PROBLEM WITH THE UNIT AND WILL NEED TO CONTACT AUTHORIZED SERVICER TO SEE IF THE IS A SOFTWEAR UPGRADE OR TECHNICAL MENU ADJUSTMENT THAT CAN BE MADE.
