Question about Samsung CLP-500 Laser Printer
Remanufactured CLP-500 Cartridges are not being recognised by printer.New resistors were installed also. Why is this?
CLP-500 and CLP-510 toner cartridges are identical in shape, but the internal microchip and toner sensors are diferent. therefore they are usually mixed up, producing the problem just described. If you check your toners and happen to have the correct ones, then have them replaced by your supplier; or better yet, try another company. Not all remanufacturing companies are able to fully reproduce the algorythms contained in such chips.
