How do I jail break my Emerson 749 tablet

You have a tough one Orlanda, as I would normally point you to xda-developers.com to browse the forums for the necessary steps. Even Googling the device brings up little, other than some paid-program that states that it can root your device (oneclickroot.com). Good luck!

Hey i rooted my android tab and its never been the same its stuck on android 3.0.1 can this be fixed?

Rooting a device always has the potential to turn the device into a 'brick' in some circumstances. Most good rooting procedures mention this, as well as steps to make a backup of the current system and how to recover from a failure to boot after rooting. There are also different 'mods' that can be tried to see if one of them will work in place of the one you first chose for rooting. These are all dependent on exactly how Android was modified for your hardware. Google 'rooting' and 'Samsung Galaxy Tab 101 Tablet GTP7510MAyXAR' and see what the articles say. You can also try a hard reset of your tablet and see if that does anything. Would rooting my tablet effect any previously downloaded or saved file?

Generally speaking, it will not. But it is always recommended that you make a hard backup of all the data and files saved just in case any emergency.

So seems you are familiar with the advantages of rooting an Android device, fine! Simply follow the step by step guide here and it's done!

Note: the unlock or root operation does not void your manufacturer warranty and does not require any third party software or the need to root your phone.
