First of all, turn your car on, and have it in park...
Push the Phone icon on the steering wheel. In a moment your center console (or display) will show Phone Menu, then Phone Redial... use the seek arrows on the steering wheel to move through the Phone Menu. When you find "Add a Phone" or "System Settings" then push OK on the steering wheel (or on the console). Scroll to Add Bluetooth Device, push OK. You will hear the Voice say "Push OK to begin pairing a device." Push OK, the console displays a 6-digit PIN.
Now go to your phone, to the settings, be sure Bluetooth is turned on, and then Search for Bluetooth Devices. In a moment the IP address may show but wait until it displays "Sync." Tap this tab and a second screen appears, and it prompts you to enter the 6-digit PIN form the dashboard, then push OK on the phone. In a moment the SYnc system will acknowledge the connection and ask additional questions. Push OK to conform and OK again to "Activate 911 Response," "Make Primary Phone" and "Download Phonebook." Watch you phone, it may have a screen (or two) pop up that what you to confirm to "Always Connect" to Sync (check the Yes) and then OK on the phone. When all is finished downloading (may take a couple of minutes), it will display Download Complete. Then push and hold the Phone icon on the steering wheel for a a few seconds and release. The Sync system should be up and active. Push the Voice button (the icon with the mouth & sound) and it will sound a tone and state "Sync, state your command." Then say "Phone" and the system will come back and say "Phone, state your command." Then either say "Call + (contact first and last name)," If it understands it will say "Calling (Contact Name) and begin dialing. Or say, "Dial," and the system will ask for you to say the phone number. It will repeat the number, if OK, then push the Voice button and say "Dial."
