Philips 52 LCD TV turned on left side is flickering right side ok what to do

Back - light problem. Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis.

Sound but no video

Sound like you have a faulty inverter. The next time the picture turns off, turn off the lights in the room. Take a bright flashlight and shine it on the screen. If you still see a faint picture, more than likely you have a fault with the inverter.

One of 2 things happened here. Either your T-con board is defective and needs changed, or your Panel is defective and you need a new TV.

There are two places to look for the problems, the backlight inverter board and the power supply. Look at the power supply first since it is easier to get to, look for burnt parts, bad capacitors, etc.

Screen flickers upon power up

Looks like your picture tube is dying, or there is a bust capacitor(s) inside...I'd recommend taking it to a service shop to get it repaired.
