Hi, If you want to get back to the classic Yahoo mail, you can click on the option on the upper right portion of the yahoomail page. there is an option to return to classic mail.

I want my old version of yahoomail back. The "new" version is no good. How can I do this?

Yahoo has specifically disabled the "return to classic mail" link on the New Mail interface. This is specifically to discourage people from going back, as the old mail interface will eventually be removed completely, and all users will be forced onto the new one.

Here is the explanation page from Yahoo Help:
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/ymail/migrating/fromclassic/mltamnoswitch.html

However there is a possible workaround to get back to Yahoo old mail. Open your browser (Firefox 5) and go to Tool-->Options-->Content, and UNcheck the box marked "Enable Javascript." This will disable Javascript from running in that browser. Then try to log into your Yahoo mail account. You should get an error message from Yahoo that your Javascript is disabled- ignore that, and continue to log in to your Mail account. Supposedly, you will be given the option to return to the old mail interface. If that occurs, go ahead and log in. You should then go back and re-enable Javascript, or your mail, and many other websites, will not function correctly.

I want to get back the old version of yahoomail.. i dont want this new version. please help me

If you are using Internet Explorer: click tools at the top, then internet options, then security. Click "Custom Level" button, go to the scripting section and disable active scripting. Then Log in to your yahoo mail. Once done you can return to the previous settings.
If you are using Firefox go to tools > options > content. Click on disable Javascript. Then Log in to your yahoo mail. Once done turn it back on.

I want to return to my old yahoo mail not beta I dont like it at all if i can not get it retured back i will change from yahoo

After switching to beta Yahoo wouldn't allow you to return to the classic version of yahoomail. However there is a way to get through this. Turn off the Javascript of your browser. ___________________________________

In case you dont know how to turn the javascript off:
Internet Explorer: tools > internet options > security. In security click "custom level" > disable Active Scripting in the scripting section.

Firefox: tools > options > content > click on "disable Javascript".

Google Chrome: Wrench button (on the upper right of the browser) > options > Under the Hood > Content Settings button > select "Do not allow any site to run JavaScript" in the Javascript section.
___________________________________

After disabling your javascript try to reload the page of your yahoomail. Then You will be asked to enable javascript or switch back to an older version of yahoomail (located at the lower part). Of course click the option that says return to an older version of yahoomail which is the last option. After that you will be brought back to your yahoomail classic view.
After doing this, DO NOT FORGET TO TURN YOUR JAVASCRIPT ON since there are functions in yahoomail that required javascript.

Yahoo releases a yahoomail account for general public if it has been inactive for more than 6 months. You can keep checking on the yahoo site to get back your old user name.

I'm guessing email. You can flip back and forth from Classic:

"For sure! We made it super-easy to switch back whenever you want. You can switch up to the new and back to the old as often as you want. We hope you'll see how much the new Yahoo! Mail improves on the old version. But until you agree, here's how to switch back.

To go to the new Yahoo! Mail, just click "Options" in the upper-right corner of your Yahoo! Mail page. On the Options page that opens, the message " Yahoo! Mail Beta has arrived! Try it now!" appears in the upper-right corner, just below the "Options" link. Click "Try it Now!" to get to the new Yahoo! Mail.

To come back to the old Yahoo! Mail, under where it says "Welcome, yourname" at the top of your Yahoo! Mail page, there's a "Switch Back" link. Click "Switch Back" to go back to the Yahoo! Mail version you're already familiar with." Source(s): http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/or…

Yahoo mail is freezing up and will not let me send mail. if I try to send an email, it goes into "processing mail" mode and never unfreezes...is this an ongoing issue?

Hello,

If you are currently using the new yahoomail beta page, this could be the cause of the problem. Try going back to the old yahoo page. Check on your page to look for Return to Yaho Classic and click on it to return back to old yahoomail page.

Yahoo asked if I wanted to try the new email and homepage just ONCE and now I can't switch back to the original which is may times user friendly. Can you help me with this?? If you annot help resolve this,...

So you want to return to Yahoo! Mail Classic? Log in into your yahoomail account. When your yahoomail is successfully loaded, look at the  top of your yahoomail. Below your username, you can see Sign Out, My Account, Mail Classic. <- Click Mail Classic. You can now get back into Yahoo! Mail Classic. If you still have questions, feel free to ask me. I would be happy assisting you. Thanks.

Best regards
